Clarion Wins PR Moment Awards for Aldi’s Next Big Thing
Last night, the Clarion team scooped up not just one, but TWO PR Moment Awards for its Aldi’s Next Big Thing campaign, including Gold for Health, Beauty, Retail & Fashion Marketing Communications Campaign Of The Year and Bronze for Integrated Campaign of the Year.
The campaign aimed to dial up Aldi’s provenance and quality while attracting new audiences to the supermarket and resulted in a six-part TV show on Channel 4. It was the second most watched food show on Channel 4 last year, delivering 7.5million viewers.
Teamed with a smart media strategy, the activity resulted in 1,124 articles. And most importantly, it all led to a series of sell-out British products.
The PR Moment Awards judges said: "Great coup to get a whole show commissioned about a brand and its products."
