"Wickes social conscience messaging was present in 100% of activity"
Wickes Community Project
To support Wickes in their local communities, we created the Wickes Community Programme, an initiative to support local groups and organisations by providing relevant products to help them with essential maintenance, renovation or to complete new projects.
We launched Wickes Community Programme nationally with singer & presenter turned DIY enthusiast, Kimberley Walsh who supported the campaign through asset creation, media interviews and social posts.
The launch announcement invited people to enter a competition to win a £10,000 prize to help spruce up any community area in needs of TLC. We set up and co-ordinated media interviews with Sky News, Daily Mirror, MailOnline and Woman’s Weekly.
We secured a 6-minute live interview on Sky News, allowing Kimberley to deliver five Wickes brand mentions in relation to local communities.
In total we achieved over 50 pieces of coverage, including 9 pieces of broadcast and 11 nationals, with a total reach of 42,276,091.
