Creating Recycling Lives’ First Ever ESG Report

With greenwashing rife, particularly within the recycling industry, Recycling Lives challenged us to demonstrate their credentials as sector leaders in ESG and the circular economy.

What we did

We enlisted our very own sustainability expert, Clarion VCP (Very Clever Person), Cath Harris to help us create an official ESG report that adhered to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Core standards - a universal framework and global standard for sustainability reporting around the world. 

The report provided a framework for measuring data to demonstrate how Recycling Lives is responding to the challenges faced by climate change and importantly, the firm’s ambition of where they want to be in the future. 

Result

The report was shared with all stakeholders and investors, with a news story drafted to reveal the 55-page report to the trade, generating eight pieces of coverage and two dedicated features.
