Happy English Wine Week!

The English wine industry is absolutely booming. Wine GB recently reported there are over 1,000 registered vineyards and 220 wineries in England – and 5 million more bottles of English wine were sold in 2023 than 2018.


We’ve been helping our clients to draw attention to the brilliant English wines on offer in the lead up to this week and encourage more people to choose a local wine.


For International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) gold medal winners, including The Trouble With Dreams, Gusbourne and Langham Wine Estate, we’ve been driving wine writer and consumer media coverage. Did you know 8% of English Wine entries were awarded gold medals this year, up from just 2% in 2023? It’s a moment IWSC judge and broadcaster David Kermode describes as ‘genuinely exciting’.


While we’ve helped Aldi to launch a brand new Pét-Nat in partnership with London Cru, driving excitement across social and landing coverage in the likes of Joe.co.uk.


And for our Lyme Bay client, we got their beautiful English Bacchus into the hands of influencers to drive social buzz with a potential reach of over half a million!
