Clarion Launches UK’s Cheapest Champagne Bar

This week the Clarion team launched Aldi’s first ever Champagne Bar.

Created to celebrate Aldi’s award winning own-label Champagne, Veuve Monsigny becoming the second best-selling Champagne in the UK, the bar is serving glasses of Champagne for just £2.33 a glass (insane, we know!)

Shoppers who visited our swanky bar in one of the UK’s most expensive postcodes – near Bond Street (where house prices average £1.8million according to Zoopla) – were shocked to find the Champagne they’d been sipping was from supermarket Aldi.

Before finding out the venue belonged to the discounter, they guessed glasses of Champagne were worth £13.50 – nearly six times the actual price.

We’ve loved creating the bar and media and influencers are enjoying it too – it’s already featured in Mail Online, Time Out, Metro, Evening Standard and Virgin Radio, to name but a few. Toff from Made in Chelsea even paid us a visit last night too.

The luxurious ‘Veuve Champagne Bar’ in 14 Gees Court, St Christopher’s Place (near Bond Street tube station) will be open until 11pm on Sunday 12th December.
